Jim Pallotta
Mr. Pallotta is the Chairman and Managing Director of Raptor Group, a diversified alternative investment firm. Previously, from 1993 to 2008, he was employed by Tudor Investment Corporation (“Tudor”). Mr. Pallotta joined Tudor as Managing Director of the U.S. Equity Securities Group in 1993, became a Member of the Management Committee of Tudor in 1996 and Vice Chairman of Tudor in 2005. He also served as Executive Manager of Tudor Group Holdings and Director of Tudor. Prior to working for Tudor, Mr. Pallotta was a principal portfolio manager at Essex Investment Management Company, Inc. (“Essex”) in Boston, Massachusetts. He joined Essex in 1983 as a Vice President and began directing client capital in January 1987. In 1989, Mr. Pallotta became a senior Vice President and Director of Research and was appointed to the board of directors of Essex in 1990. Mr. Pallotta has more than 28 years of experience in equity research and analysis, including 24 years directing client capital. He is a member of the Executive Boards of the Boston Celtics and AS Roma. He is also a member of the boards of certain charitable organizations. Mr. Pallotta received a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts (1979) and an MBA with concentration in accounting from Northeastern University (1981).
